Quite Cute!

I've had these pictures on my camera for weeks, but haven't gotten around to posting them.
Sorryyyyyy!

I did this look using mainly products from the MAC Quite Cute collection, which I was pretty excited about - mostly because of Candy Yum-Yum, which is the most amazing, matte pink lipstick. Ever.

I wasn't really excited about the eyeshadow palette at first, but after using it a couple of times, I actually think it is exactly what it's supposed to be: cute ;)
The pastel colors are great for spring, and even though they're far from being the most pigmented shadows I've ever used, they work well for certain looks, especially if paired with more pigmented, matte shades to give the looks some depth.
All I used besides the eyeshadow palette in this look was actually a colored base in the crease!
And I'm honestly surprised at how much I like the pink color in the palette! Definitely my favorite of the four :)

Playing with colors, glitter and lip tars!

Bright colors are awesome!
I finally had the time to play around with some fun makeup today, and this is what I ended up with! :)

MAC FashionFlower

"A stylish fusion of the floral and the fashionable in a summer colour collection that evokes the cool side of the hottest season. Join these rare blossoms and succumb horticulturally to a bouquet that's equal parts fleur and couture!"

It's now up on MAC's website! (which means I can post about it, haha!)

Are you getting anything from the collection?

I already have Alpha Girl beauty powder (which is super pretty!) and I'm in love with the Lip Gelees ;)
I don't think I'll buy anything, but that's just because I have other things I need to spend my money on right now :/ But! The collection doesn't come out where I live until next month, so I have some time to decide ;)

Poll: Should I do trend posts this season?

I'm not sure if anyone remembers, but I did a few posts about the spring and summer trends around this time last year, and was wondering if you would care to see posts like that this year as well.

If you have no idea what kind of posts I'm talking about, you can take a look at the ones from last year :)

I love sharing different takes on the trends, but those kinds of posts and tutorials do take some time to do so I don't really want to bother, if you don't care to read/watch them!

I'd love to know what you think :)

Trend posts and tutorials?
I'd definitely read posts and watch tutorials!
I would read the posts
I would watch the tutorials
I wouldn't read the posts or watch the tutorials
I might read/watch some of the posts/tutorials but don't really care

Doing makeup on my sister :)

My 13 year old sister wants to wear makeup for an upcoming event, and has asked me to do it.

So, what kind of makeup do you do on a 13 year old?
She doesn't usually wear any makeup besides mascara, so I wanted to do something sweet and natural.

This past weekend, we did a little "trial" and I think the look we ended up doing is really nice on her! The gold liner makes it a little more fun than your standard super-neutral look but without being overpowering :)

Purple lips!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love purple lips!
And! I think I've just found my new favorite purple lip combo :D

Favorites of the month: March '11

I've really been getting back into makeup this past month, so I'm excited to finally have some favorite products to share :)

I'd love to know if you'd like to see posts like this every month :)
